Herd Building British White Cows
All cattle are offered as foundation-quality Fullblood British White breeding females, bred for longevity, maternal ability, low birth weight, moderate frame and pasture-based feed efficiency.

Bred Cow/Calf Pair - Spring
J.West's Reyna
Reyna is a '23 born bred back first calf heifer, with her own pretty 3/26 born heifer at foot, Lady Bug, bw 58 lbs and sired by Scout.
Her own dam is herd matriarch Carterina, and while she won't have the size of her dam, she has her nice muscle expression on a more moderate frame. Reyna sells exposed to Bobbo. $9500

Bred Cow - Fall
J.West's Emma Clare, #49
Emma Clare is a '22 born young cow with strong genetic potential from proven maternal lines, including El Presidente influence through her very fine dam Clare. She is more reactive than typical for the breed, wider flight zone, but she is not aggressive. She has excellent feed efficiency from her dam as well as her sire, Bandito, out of Babe. Bred to Bobbo for her 3rd calf. $5500.

Bred Cow - Fall
J.West's Elbee, #30
Elbee has a very good disposition, tends to have small birth weight calves regardless of the bull she's bred to. Elbee has had mostly bulls, and she finally gave me another super heifer the past year. Maybe for you she'll keep that up. She's a great milky cow born 2016 out of my Lillie Belle and sired by my 20 Ouncer. Elbee is bred to Bandito. $3500.

Bred Cow - Fall/Early Spring
J.West's Belle #25
Belle is a bred back first calf heifer. She is out of Babe, a matriarch in the herd, and she's just about her spitting image. Belle is a moderate young cow with good disposition and a very nice udder. She was born April of '23. Belle looks settled to Bobbo. $6500.

Bred Cow/Calf Pair - Spring
J.West's Abigail, #04
Abigail is a beautiful feminine cow coming down from my Brigit and Bountiful line. She has a very nice 4/3/26 born bull calf at foot, bw 60 lbs and sired by Goodman, that will be sold registered. Abigail's pedigree conveys very milky feed efficient genetics. Abigail's shoulder splotches of black are also part of her maternal pedigree (English bull Turpin) back 25 years. Born 2018, exposed to Bobbo. Pair price is $6500.

Bred Cow/Calf Pair - Spring
J.West's Lillie, #60
Lillie, born 10/22, has her 2nd calf at foot, a 4/3 Scout sired bull, and looks bred back to Bobbo. Lillie is a moderate young cow, with exceptional muscling from both her dam, Carterina, and her sire, Marksman. Lillie would be an asset to a herd focused on improving thickness/muscling and moderating size. Lillie and unregistered bull calf are $8500.

Bred Cow - Fall
J.West's Merme, #42
Merme is a great moderate cow that always raises her calves well. She is rather fun to have in your herd as she has a tongue licking/extending habit that she passes on to a lot of her calves. Merme also likes to shake her head at you but is harmless. Born 2016 out of Merry Marie, who birthed many excellent calves in a lot of pedigrees today, and sired by 20 Ouncer. Bred to Bobbo. $3500.

Bred Cow - Spring
J.West's Rose, #46
Rose is a 2023 born bred back first calf heifer. Rose is a very easy-going pretty cow, and she raised a nice late Fall bull calf for me. She would be great addition to your moderate herd. Her dam, Snapdragon, herself sired by Milo, has been a mainstay of my herd for many years. Rose was sired by Marksman. Rose looks settled to Bobbo for a Spring calf. $6500.

Bred Cow/Calf Heifer Pair - Spring
J.West's Allie Bee, #84
Allie Bee is simply beautiful. Beautiful build, tidy well-made milky udder, and she has an outstanding daughter at foot. Allie is a first calf bred back heifer. She is feed efficient, femininely muscled, with a very nice udder. Allie was born 4/23 out of Nancy Bee, she stands about 45" at the hip. Her own heifer, named Nancy Too, was born 3/26, bw 56 lbs, sired by Scout. Allie sells exposed to Bobbo for her next calf. $10,500

Bred Heifer - Fall
J.West's Lelora Dee #19
Lelora Dee is a well marked pretty thing from a long held female line in our herd that started with Lucy Lelora. She has a good disposition, a bit distant, but she was the only heifer born that Fall. She is a very well made balanced heifer. Lelora sells bred to Bobbo for her first calf. Lelora was born 10/24 out of DeeDee and Laddy. $6500.

Bred Heifer - Fall
J.West's Bee Kind #85
Bee is a precocious young '24 heifer. She has a talent for mysteriously being in the next pasture in a morning, and back with her herd by the afternoon. Bee may not be the flashiest heifer in the pasture, but she is a useful, productive young female with plenty to offer a breeding program. Bee's dam is Nancy Bee and she was sired by Bandito. Bee is bred to Bobbo. $4500
