       Inviting everyone to take a look at the British White breed of cattle and see what's happening here at this Texas ranch.   Beef is what's for dinner.....and for too long it's been the domain of that black breed.....For both the seedstock and commercial rancher, the British White breed gives all you can ask in fertility, calving ease, hardiness, gentleness, and more. 
         J.West Cattle Company raises registered British White cattle on 100% grass and legumes. Our breeding program is focused on moderate profile, easy keeping grass genetics.
     The British White breed is a very beautiful and very ancient cattle breed with a noble heritage in the British Isles dating back thousands of years, where we find them revered and magified in old oral Celtic tales, customs, and laws. . . long before the advent of the written word. The special nature and qualities of the British White breed have been preserved for enjoyment today by both the breeder and the consumer of finely marbled and tender British White beef.
